Tribe - CF Youth

If you were to ask us what the core purpose of TriBe is, it would be to unlock the 'light' we carry within; to somehow touch base with the Father in way that will reveal who we really are, deep down, underneath all the externals; to be everything our creator intends for us to be. Many talk about it. Few discover it.

It takes a lot of courage - the heart of lion - to even embark upon such a quest.

Jesus said, "Let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and praise your Father in heaven." In other words, when we discover who we really are, when we drop the masks and get real - ruthlessly real - about who God made us to be, then and only then will our light begin to shine - and it's a light that God wants to show the world!

We carry a light so powerful that others will recognize it as something (or someone) beyond our natural selves. Some may think it is prideful to make such a claim, but we know that the glory we carry is not our own, it has been bestowed upon us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us…  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
