When you are at work, in school, in your neighborhood, and somebody says:
“What right does Israel have to the Land? They haven’t been there for 2000 years.”

This is what you tell them:

Jews have been in the Land of Israel for 3000 years. Despite what you think, they have never left. There has always been a community of Jews in the Land of Israel. The Jews first came to Israel with the conquest of Joshua ben Nun over 3,500 years ago. They lived in the land for hundreds of years as King Saul first set up a Kingdom. That kingdom lasted for 800 years until 586 B.C.E. when the Babylonians conquered the Land and exiled the Jews to Babylon, or modern day Iraq.

Well, it’s been a great ride over the past 6 months. We’ve put the ‘pedal to the metal’ doing Paddock Racing with a mini-stock, been to war with Napier Christian Fellowship, battled the Sun ‘n Surf at Himatangi, and faced off against each other at the Highland Games & Battle of the Sexes.
